inTouch specialises in working directly with migrant and refugee women who have experienced family violence and their communities. We also provide advice and support to practitioners working across the family violence continuum.

Experiencing Family Violence?

If you are in immediate danger, please call 000.

Please complete the Self Referral Form or call 1800 755 988 to speak to an intake worker or any of our support staff. Our intake line is open 9:00am-5:00pm.

If you are experiencing abuse and need immediate support, you can call Victoria’s family violence response service, Safe Steps on 1800 015 188 or 1800RESPECT (Australia-wide) on 1800 737 732.

Both services are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If you require a translator for these services, please call TIS (Translating and Interpreting Service) on 131 450.

Referring a Client to inTouch?

To refer your client to inTouch for a specialist inLanguage, inCulture family violence case management or co-case management service, you can complete the online Client Referral Form. Please have your client’s MARAM, Safety Plan and any other relevant documents available to prevent delay.

We provide services and a range of support to clients who:

  • Are women or gender non-binary clients agreeable to support from a women’s service
  • Are aged 18 years and older
  • Reside in Victoria
  • Are experiencing current or ongoing impact of family violence
  • Require an in-language and/or culturally tailored family violence service response
  • Require support across multiple areas and/or have complex needs

To request a specialist secondary consultation from an inTouch family violence case manager, please complete the online Cultural Secondary Consultation Form.

For secondary consultations from inTouch’s Legal Centre, please complete the Legal Support Secondary Consultation form or our Migration Support Secondary Consultation form.
